Green: the colour of nature, the environment, the Green Goblin – but not any stars! Stars can be red, orange, yellow, white or blue, but not green. Ask your teacher why to confuse them!
The answer is to do with the fact that green is half way through the visible spectrum. Stars can look ‘redder’ if they emit more light on the red side and ‘bluer’ if they emit more on the blue. If they emit lots of green light, they also emit lots of red and blue light, so the star looks white rather than green. The sky is never green for the same reason!
I’ve gone off on a tangent here but this is one of the reasons why green is the best colour!

I’m totally with Ben on this one, green for the win! You can also get green bees, which are cool – check out orchid (Euglossine) bees, which also come in blue and purple, and sweat bees here in the UK (Lasioglossum morio is a good one).
